This is one of the most rewarding areas for Al & Son Fine Arts.  The power of spoken word is the driving force of our total marketing effort.

Keepin It Real Part ll is indeed a blast from the past from the 60's and 70's.  Sit back and enjoy a fabulous period in Black History.

During the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, I wrote many poems depicting the many challenges that we faced during that period and later releasing my first book, with a collection of 15 poems, called “Keepin it Real”, Classic Urban Poetry from the 60s & 70s

To be very specific with my aim, I've decided to utilize the power of spoken word for better focus. It appears that many challenges that were faced in the 60’s and 70’s have only been recycled.  “Keepin it Real” shall help one truly prioritize what’s really important.  On the following CDs, volume 1, I have put three of the poems from the book “Keepin it Real” and one newly written poem to spoken word.
